2004-05 Big West Academic All-Conference Honors Announced With Pacific Student-Athletes Among The Many

IRVINE, Calif.- The 2004-05 Big West Winter Sports Academic All-Conference honors were announced today and Pacific was well represented in both the men's and women's basketball and swimming. The Tigers had 24 of the 83 student-athletes that were honored on the team.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, have attained a sophomore standing academically and competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
The following are the Pacific Tigers student-athletes that earned honors: senior Matt Kemper (Fresno, Calif.) and junior Christian Maraker (Varberg, Sweden) for men's basketball; sophomore Jessica Brantley (San Antonio, Tex.), sophomore Ashley Dolezal (Redwood City, Calif.), senior Darlene Gibbard (Taft, Calif.), senior Tanya Green (Cupertino, Calif.), and sophomore Jessie Menkens (Vancouver, Wash.) for women's basketball; junior Katy Burrill (Fresno, Calif.), senior Sarah Houck (Escalon, Calif.)senior Elizabeth Inai (Woodland Hills, Calif.), senior Jacqueline Moirao (Danville, Calif.), junior Elizabeth Plume (Hillsborough, Calif.), junior Jennifer Radecke (Alameda, Calif.), sophomore Ali Rowe (Concord, Calif.), and senior Alison Shasky (Moraga, Calif.) for women's swimming; junior Thomas Dunn (Morgan Hill, Calif.), senior Danny Ender (Fallbrook, Calif.), senior Edmund Herlihy (Mission Viejo, Calif.), senior Brian Lamar (Whittier, Calif.), sophomore Casey Lowdermilk (Parker, Colo.), sophomore Clint McLaughlin (El Cajon, Calif.), senior Will McLaughlin (El Cajon, Calif.), senior Chris Raimondi (Fremont, Calif.), and senior Jonathan Russell (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) for men's swimming.
